Beena is a Holistic Practitioner for the past 17 years and a Nurse for the past 25 years.
As a nurse since 1995, she has had experience working in the hospital in the areas of Geriatrics, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Rehab, Cardiology, Respiratory and GI units, Pediatrics, as well as with Mentally and Physically disabled children.
She has done community nursing and worked in various nursing and retirement homes.
Beena has taught the Personal Support Worker (PSW) course in 2013, in two different colleges, both as a teacher in the classroom and as a clinical instructor with 9 PSW students. She has been part of several flu clinics and heart health clinics as a facilitator.
She has been a Clinical Supervisor for 3 years, from 2012 to 2016, supervising 300 clients and over 60 PSW’s in the Mississauga and Toronto Central area communities, conducting in home client visits. Was a Director of Health and Wellness in a Retirement Home in Milton, ON.
I was a business partner in 2003-2004 where we had 2 locations one in Mississauga and we owed a gym in Oakville. I did practice as a Holistic Practitioner and saw several patients where I prescribed Homeopathic Medicine and did nutrition counselling and set up exercises programs for several clients.
